Large Format Art · Glass Printing · Global Scale · 200,000 Pieces Per Month
Big Art Piece started as an idea in 2017 during one of my trips to China. I was visiting a massive glass manufacturing facility — one of the largest suppliers for high-rise buildings. What caught my attention wasn't just the scale of production, but what was sitting unused in the back: hundreds of thousands of glass panels stacked and forgotten. That moment stayed with me.
Over the next year, I returned several times, building relationships and exploring possibilities. Around that same time, I came across the work of Peter Lik, one of the world's top photographic artists. His pieces — high-end photography printed on glass — were selling anywhere from $18,000 to over $50,000 each. That's when everything clicked.
I developed a proprietary system to print high-resolution images onto a specialized material, mount it seamlessly to glass, and integrate a clean, durable hanging system onto the back. Over time, I engineered multiple hanging solutions, including one patented clip system that makes installation simple and secure.
In 2018, we officially launched Big Art Piece at the Canton Fair. From day one, we focused on wholesale — shipping full containers with professional-grade packaging. The response was immediate. We started with around 400 images. Today, we offer over 400,000 images, with the ability to custom-produce pieces to any size or specification.
Our pieces range from 5 feet up to 10 feet and beyond — panoramic, rectangular, square, and cylindrical formats. By manufacturing in Dongguan, China, we produce at incredibly low cost while maintaining top-tier quality. What started at 200–500 pieces per month quickly grew to 200,000 pieces per month.
We now operate with a global footprint — manufacturing in China, distribution hubs in Germany, and U.S. operations in Orange County, California. What began as an observation in a warehouse has turned into a powerful global business.
